Australia Day Regatta

A regatta of five races will be held over the three days of the Australia Day long weekend. This regatta is open to yachts, multihulls and trailer-able yachts meeting the requirements of Cat 5.

Dates:    Saturday 26^th January 2019                    Races 1 and 2

               Sunday 27^th January 2019                      Races 3 and 4

               Monday 28^th January 2019                      Race 5

                                                                                  Presentation lunch

Race entries close Friday 25th January 2019.

Entry fee $90

Casual entries for individual races accepted on the morning of the race. Casual race entry $25 per race

Prizes for the overall regatta winner are:

• a $750.00 voucher at Lewis Boatyard for first prize,
• a $500.00 voucher at Lewis Boatyard for second prize and
• a $250.00 voucher at Lewis Boatyard for third prize.  

Trophies will be awarded for first, second and third place. Additional a daily presentation will be made at around 17:00hrs recognizing that day’s winners.

Wollongong Yacht Club will be providing full bar facilities for the weekend with food and fireworks available on Saturday night and the presentation lunch occurring on Monday afternoon.  Overnight berthing can be arranged.
